Plebiscite General Election

Plebiscite General Election

You will notice not one Unionist politician on TV or radio is talking about stopping a Plebiscite General Election. All eyes are looking upon delaying and denying Indyref2 and here’s why.

The UK cannot stop political party’s running on the topic of independence. Other States have become independent using this method, Ireland for instance in 1918 held an election that led to independence. It is the UK Government’s biggest fear and they are trying to hide it by making us focus on Indyref2.

A General Election is an indisputable democratic event. Political parties can run on any number of issues or just one, independence.  It cannot be denied or delayed indefinitely on the word of one party who says you do not have permission. It is actually the law that the UK must have a General Election every five years.

So let them continue to deny Indyref2. Have them fight the devolved administration in court over it. Let them change the law to put referendums beyond the administrations competence before the court case is even finished. Let them show again that they will cheat to force Scotland to stay in the union against its will. Because when the General Election comes the bitter taste of their antics will still be in the mouths of soft voters. Then there will be no hope of stopping Scots voting for an independence at the General Election. This is our right, based in legal precedent of the UK and international law.

In the light of an unaviodable plebiscite election you have to wonder why the UK isn’t willing to end the instability this is causing? Surely giving S30 permission puts the legal issues surrounding it back into the abyss and aviods a Plebiscite General Election? The only way the UKs position makes sense is if they are certain that they will lose any independence vote.
